About the Workshop,

Within this workshop, you will learn the ancient and refined craft of using the pottery wheel.

This soul craft not only enables you to create treasured objects to fill your home with but is a relaxing, meditative past time and effective in reducing stress levels and anxiety.

In this all inclusive workshop, you will learn to make pieces on the pottery wheel, and choose 3 items to be glazed and fired for you to collect 3 weeks later.

This Introduction to the Pottery Wheel Workshop is a compulsory prerequisite for beginners who wish to join our studio as a thrower in the weekly studio sessions. The other option for learning the wheel in our studio is the 6 Week Beginner Throwing Course.

Workshop runs from 9am - 2pm each Saturday in Newstead and on Sundays in both our Newstead and Morningside studio’s.

The workshop price of $240 includes all materials and for our studio to fire and glaze your pieces in your choice of colour. (4 colours choices)

A morning tea of coffee, tea, biscuits and fruit is provided in the workshop, but if you would like to bring or buy a more substantial lunch you are welcome too.

PLEASE NOTE: Please choose carefully as we do not offer cash refunds on any classes, courses or workshops.

Cancellation Policy: We have a strict 24 hour cancellation policy on all workshops and classes. These workshops can book out weeks in advance, so to ensure a fair booking system we ask for more than 24 hours notice so we can offer the seat to another student.

If cancelled before 24 hours the workshop will be credited back onto your account to book in another time.
