We are an integrated gallery space, existing alongside Mas and Miek Ceramic House in Newstead. Expanding on the dynamic community of makers that thrive at The Ceramic House, we are actively looking to exhibit work from a diverse range of mediums, including painting, photography, sculpture, mixed media and of course, ceramics. Through our rolling calendar of exhibitions and events, we wish to support artists at all stages of their career from emerging and mid-career makers as well as established artists. This space aims to bring artists and creatives together and facilitate meaningful and engaging connections with their community.

3 Day Weekend Exhibition

Exhibition fee - $300

Commission - 30%

2 Week Exhibition

Exhibition fee - $400

Commission - 40%

Additional Programming 

As our gallery is an integrated space that exists alongside our teaching studio, we are well set up for hosting workshops or classes that will give audiences an opportunity to gain insight into your practice. If you wish to put together and host a workshop during the exhibition period we are more than happy to work with you and help facilitate the booking and promotion of this event.

inclusions

When exhibiting with us you will be working with the full support of our gallery coordinator, Claudia, along with support from Charlie and Mieke, both of whom have years of experience working alongside galleries and within the arts sector. Our goal is to facilitate an exhibition that showcases your practice and helps you connect with and cultivate an audience here in Brisbane and surrounding regions.

Our exhibition package will include the following:

  • Opening night event, we will supply beverages

  • Design of Instagram flier plus the creation and management of a Facebook event

  • Online marketing and promotion through The Ceramic House socials

  • Supervision of the exhibition space by studio staff seven days a week

  • Facilitation of sales over the course of the exhibition including the packaging of pieces that have been purchased.

  • Curatorial support from Claudia and Charlie

  • Basic materials, including plinths, wall hangings and shelving

  • Assistance of the installation and pack-down of the exhibition

If you would also like professional documentation of your work in the space we are happy to work with a photographer to do this at an additional cost.
