Paint a pot
We now offer our casual ‘Paint-a-Pot’ activity in both our studio’s! Newstead we have AM and PM sessions running each day. In Morningside, due to our limited availbility we have sessions running from 11am-1pm Monday, Wednesday & Friday.
We have an array of hand made pottery to choose from and you can enjoy complimentary tea and coffee whilst you relax and paint away. In our Morningside studio location, we have partnered with neighbouring restaurant The Hill’s to offer their full cafe menu for you to order from their QR code.
How it works;
- Book a table ticket online below
- Arrive in your session, choose your piece of pottery & purchase
- Paint away
- Collect your work 1-2 weeks later after the studio has clear glazed and fired it for you!
A few things to note;
- Children are welcome in these sessions but must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- This activity is designed to be a casual activity for smaller groups of 2/3. We have one table that can sit 5, but if you have a larger group, please email or call the studio to talk through options. In Morningside, our tables seat 4/5.
- These sessions are not for larger groups, parties or events. We offer private group bookings on the large studio tables in Newstead. Please see here for more info.
- Our range of pre made bisque ware is all handmade work made by our talented teachers and staff, and mostly utilitarian - mugs, bowls, cups, vases etc. We do not offer a range of slip cast figurines as this is not what our studio makes.
- Please respect the 2 hour booking time. If you arrive late, you may run out of painting time.
- Please allow 2 weeks firing time (it is usually less than this) for your work to be fired and completed after painting.
- We apologise but we do not offer postage on finished work. You are welcome to arrange a friend or loved one (provided they have a photo) to collect your work on your behalf and post to you.
